FISH of Roseburg goes solar

A ribbon cutting event celebrating the completion of the new photovoltaic solar power system happened on August 27th. The 17.75-Kilowatt project is expected to supply more than 22,000 kWh annually. This project consists of 45 Oregon made solar panels divided among the west and south facing roof slopes of the FISH Food Pantry building. This system is expected to reduce the electrical power bills of the Pantry by about 40% per year. We greatly appreciate the financial support of the following that made this project possible: Pacific Power’s Blue Sky program, Energy Trust of Oregon, First Interstate BancSystem Foundation, and financial donors of The FISH of Roseburg.
