1.9kW Grid Tied BIPV Awning
Located in the rain-shadow of Spencer’s Butte, this property receives significantly less rain than most of southern Lane County. This new home was designed to utilize the entire roof for a water catchment system. Our solar awning, consisting of 10 Sanyo 190 Watt DA-3 bifacial modules, sheds water into a gutter that feeds the catchment system. An Oregon made PV Powered 2000 Watt inverter is grid tied here to offset the modest power usage of the property.
