This remodeled 100 year old home, in the University District, received a 2.76 kW solar electric system on the West facing dormer. Faced with the challenge of over-spanned rafter supports, engineer John Norrena designed this racking system that evenly distributed the weight to 10) 3″ stand-offs. 5 aluminum beams support the solar array. The remodel was done by Rainbow Valley Construction.
